Whatever your standard, whatever your endurance event, you should always remember the Three Golden Rules of Training:

 

It's not the training that makes you fitter!

 

The effect of training is reversible

 

Training is specific

 

Westbury Harriers has produced many star athletes, but you might be surprised to know that they mostly started out as fairly ordinary runners.  It was perseverance and the right training that turned them into winners!
