Ladies' 75th Anniversary event
held on September 27th 2003

The 75th anniversary of the founding of our ladies' side was held on 27th Sepember 2003 at the Next Generation Club, the new sports and fitness club built on the site of the old cinders running track at Greenway (for many years the summer home of Westbury Harriers).  All in all 116 past and present members came along, and enjoyed a great evening of food, 1920's and 30's music (courtesy of "The French Connection - contact Sheila Graham on 0117 926 8627), and reminiscences.  Pathe Gazette newsreel footage of the 1930 women's national was shown (we won the team event that year - to this day the only time it has been won by a west-country club!), as well as older home videos and photo albums.
